Me Pauliane BOUM

Augustine Pauliane BOUM is a lawyer at the Cameroon Bar. She holds a Master’s degree in banking and financial law and has completed certified training courses in money laundering and the fight against terrorism, structured finance, Islamic finance, public and private partnerships and arbitration. Her growing interest in financial law justifies her involvement as co-organiser of the sub-regional conference “Les Rendez-Vous Droit et Finance”. Her dual certification from the Centre Africain de Veille et d’Intelligence Economique facilitates, among other things, the handling of various banking issues and the monitoring and management of cybercrime litigation (phishing, card and bank transfer fraud, etc).

Promoted to head CAVIE’s Legal Intelligence department, her work and various contributions to the Revue Africaine de Veille et Intelligence Economique highlight the role of strategic intelligence in the competitiveness of businesses and the performance of the justice system in Africa. She assists local and foreign clients with their business creation and international recovery strategies, particularly in the mining sector, where she holds a degree in energy and mining law. She is a member of the Mouvement patronal Féminin Ecam au Féminin, for which she heads the legal committee.
