Mohamed BACHA has worked throughout his career as a senior executive and university professor. His journey is characterized by the positions of responsibility he held, mainly within the Ministry of Participation and later the Ministry of Industry, with a brief stint at the beginning of his career in the Ministry of Planning and Territorial Development, and towards the end in the Ministry in charge of Territorial Development.

At the Ministry of Industry, he served for 6 years as the Director General of Competitive Intelligence and Foresight, contributing to the establishment of Competitive Intelligence in Algeria at the central level and within major Algerian companies.
