Mr. Awono ONANA is a full professor at the university. He has held various positions including head of the Mathematics-Computer Science department at Ecole Polytechnique in Yaoundé. He has also served as Director of the University Institute of Technology in Douala, Director of the National School of Yaoundé, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Yaoundé I, Vice-Rector at the University of Douala, and finally President of the University of Montagnes.

Professor Awono ONANA has been involved in numerous internationally funded projects with organizations such as the World Bank, the European Union, the African Union, and UNESCO. For years, he has been working on the issue of entrepreneurship, incorporating tools such as artificial intelligence and data science, with a particular focus on community entrepreneurship.
