Richard is 58 years old and the father of 4 grown children. As an avid traveller, he has lived and worked in various countries. His engineering degree led him to the field of statistics, now commonly referred to as AI. For 25 years, he worked in the mining and metallurgical industry in Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Switzerland, Morocco, USA, Canada, and to some extent, France. He was involved in everything from mining exploration to high-tech products in nuclear, aerospace, and medical fields.

In 2015, Richard acquired the oldest (35 years old this year) competitive intelligence consulting company in France. In order to enhance the services provided to clients, he desperately searched for an efficient tool: a tool that would allow him to quickly find information regardless of the native language in which it was written. Unable to find such a tool after numerous unsuccessful attempts, he co-created Niiwaa.

Niiwaa is a multilingual intelligence monitoring engine that does what neither Google nor ChatGPT can do. Today, Niiwaa is powered by a multicultural team and has welcomed individuals from Tunisia, Senegal, Albania, Russia, China, Vietnam, Colombia, Ivory Coast, and of course, Cameroon.
