Kickoff of preparations for the 8th African Competitive Intelligence Days #JAIE2025

Yaoundé, March 3, 2025 – The Tunisian embassy in Yaoundé was the venue for a strategic meeting this Monday, where Dr. Guy Gweth, president of the African Centre for Competitive Intelligence (ACCI), presented the details of the 8th edition of the African Competitive Intelligence Days (JAIE) to the Chargé d’Affaires a.i., Mr. Mohamed Amine. Scheduled for May 30 and 31, 2025, in Tunis, this major event will be held under the evocative theme “The Emergencies of African Competitive Intelligence.”

A Strengthened Partnership

This 45-minute meeting served to consolidate the partnership between ACCI and the Tunisian embassy in Cameroon. Mr. Amine warmly acknowledged the ten years of action by ACCI and assured Dr. Gweth of the embassy’s full support for the success of JAIE 2025 on Tunisian soil. In return, the president of ACCI reaffirmed his organization’s commitment to enhancing strategic monitoring and intelligence to inform the decisions of African stakeholders facing an influx of unprecedented challenges.

A Relevant Theme: The Emergencies of African Competitive Intelligence

In a constantly evolving global context, Africa faces major geopolitical and economic challenges. The central theme of JAIE 2025, “The Emergencies of African Competitive Intelligence,” will highlight the necessity for the continent to master the tools and strategies of competitive intelligence, along with the related training, to strengthen its resilience in the face of increasing disruptions and crises.

A Platform for African Experts and Decision-Makers

JAIE2025 is set to be a premier platform for decision-makers, experts, and key players in security, resilience, and competitiveness through information on African markets. The event will offer strategic networking opportunities, training workshops, and high-level conferences on competitive intelligence issues.

ACCI has issued a call for participation and partnership for JAIE 2025. All interested public and private stakeholders are invited to express their interest before April 25, 2025.
