Dr. Alexander Maune is a Talmudist, academic, and seasoned consultant with over 17 years of practical experience in academia, finance, and research. He is the author of two books, a book chapter, and numerous peer-reviewed articles in internationally recognized journals. His expertise spans competitive intelligence, corporate governance, development finance, taxation, and alternative finance.
A specialist in Talmudic real investment, Dr. Maune possesses deep knowledge of the Chumash and Zohar, bringing a unique philosophical and analytical perspective to his work. He combines this with practical experience in financial services, having previously worked as a Business Finance Analyst at Standard Chartered Bank.
Dr. Maune currently serves as a Research Associate at the University of South Africa (UNISA) and as a lecturer at Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE) in Zimbabwe. He holds a PhD, MSc, BCom, and CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting. He is a member of the UNISA–African Union Agenda 2063 Research Project, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), the Strategic Consortium of Intelligence Professionals (SCIPs), and the Institute of Directors Zimbabwe (IoDZ).
His scholarly contributions and thought leadership have been shared at numerous international conferences, and he is actively involved as a reviewer and editor for academic journals.
